Terms of Use
These terms cover the No app and the optional sync subscription. By using the app, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
The app
No helps you keep a short focus list and park other ideas. Core use works offline on your device without an account. Features may change as the product evolves.
Optional account and sync
Sign-in and sync are optional. Sync copies list text and structure to our servers so you can use the same data on more than one device. Voice recordings are not uploaded. You are responsible for what you store and for keeping your Apple ID secure.
Subscriptions
Sync is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (for example monthly or yearly) through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in App Store account settings → Subscriptions.
Deleting your No account removes server-side sync data for that account. It does not cancel the App Store subscription by itself — cancel that with Apple if you no longer want to be billed.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use No on devices you own or control, for your own use, subject to these terms and the App Store rules. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service, or attempt to access another person’s account or data.
Your content
You keep ownership of the ideas and notes you enter. If you use sync, you give us permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide sync and support the account.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost ideas, device failure, or interruption of sync, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
